I like...

... making do with what I have.

What do I have?

Lotsa yarn scraps.

Look what I can turn them into.

Scrap Pile Coaster Pattern

3.5mm/E hook
Sugar'n Cream or Peaches'n Creme
or any medium worsted weight yarn scraps will do.
I used these from my scrap pile:  Hot Pink, Rose Pink, Hot Orange, White, Lime Green, & Hot Blue.



Rnd 1   With Hot pink yarn, Ch 3.  6 Sc in 3rd ch from hook. Change to Rose pink yarn.  Join.  Ch 1.  (6 sc)
Rnd 2   2 Sc in each st around.  Change to Hot orange yarn.  Join.  Ch 1.  (12sc)
Rnd 3   *Sc in same st, 2 sc in the next st*  Repeat ** 6 times.  Change white yarn.  Join.  Ch 1.  (18 sc)
Rnd 4   *Sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in the next st*  Repeat ** 6 times.  Change Lime Green yarn.  Join.  Ch 1.  (24 sc)
Rnd 5   *Sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in the next st*  Repeat ** 6 times.  Change Hot Blue yarn.  Ch 1.  (30 sc)
Rnd 6  *Sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in the next st* Repeat ** 6 times.  Change Hot Pink yarn.  Join.  Ch 3.  (36 sc)
Rnd 7  *YO, insert hook in the same st, draw up a loop, YO, draw up 2 loops.  YO, insert hook in the same st, draw up a loop, YO and draw though all loops on the hook.  Sk next st and sl st in next st*  Repeat ** around.  Fasten off.  Weave.

Voila!
Make multiples and in sets, wrap nicely, add a tag, write a kind note on a pretty card from the dollar bin ~ Hurrah!
